Artwork Requirements

Camera-Ready Art: Imprint Quality on your order depends upon your artwork supplied with it.  To avoid delays and additional art charges, please supply clean camera-ready artwork.  If art needs to be touched up, add $80.00 per hour, contact factory for more information.
 

Camera-Ready Art Guidelines
 

  • Black & White line art of flat photographic paper.

  • 600 dpi (or higher) laser prints, preferably 200% of final size.

  • Glossy, fine grain paper works better than matte copier paper.

  • Artwork for multi-color imprints: MUST send black & white, color separated art with registration marks for each color.

  • Always include a color composite.
     

Digital Art Requirements
 

Our Art Department uses Macintosh computers and PCs.  Mac & PC formats, (IBM or compatible platforms) will be accepted.
 

Computer Software: Lugeoco Specialties supports the following programs: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw and Macromedia Freehand.  PC versions of these software programs must all have text converted to outline or vector form.  In not possible, all fonts must be included with art. (Mac fonts only)
 

Recommendations: VECTOR art such as Illustrator or Freehand files provide superior reproduction quality and allows images to be re-sized without loss of sharpness or detail.
 

Unacceptable Artwork/Text Files: Faxes, copies of faxes, photocopies, photographs, slides, transparencies, negative stats or films that needs to be reversed to positive, halftone art that needs to be resized, low resolution laser printed artwork of less than 600 dpi., letterheads, business cards, actual product or any other art that needs to be touched-up, color separated or made one color.  Text files from word processing documents such as Power Point, Word Perfect or Window Metafiles cannot be used.
 

Acceptable Media: To expedite your order, artwork may be sent on a  CD ROM, flash drive or via e-mail.  A laser printout of your art should be included with your artwork.
 

Halftones: ALL camera-ready art supplied with halftones should be "to size" at 65 line screen.  Due to textured surfaces we cannot accept halftones on Textured CD Holders, Stress Relievers, Portfolios, Organizers or Insulated Bags.
 

Request for Artwork on file: Artwork is kept in a CD Library for approximately 2 years.  Re-orders must contain the customer number, P.O. number and/or Lugeoco Specialties  job number plus a copy of the artwork to ensure the correct artwork is pulled for the re-order.  Artwork CANNOT be transferred from one Distributor's file to another without the express written permission from the original Distributor.
 

Artwork Return Requests: Artwork will be returned upon written request after completion of order and payment of invoice.  Written request may be made via mail, fax or e-mail.  Request for Purchase Orders will not be processed.  Distributor is responsible for postage and/or freight charges.
 

Authorizations & Indemnification: By placing an order with Lugeoco Specialties, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to order, purchase and/or distribute merchandise containing the names, trademark, logos, copyrights, etc., identified and/or submitted with your order.  You also agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Lugeoco Specialties, it's affiliates and representatives, from and against all claims, liabilities and expenses, (including attorney's fees), arising out of or related to an actual or alleged infringement or misappropriation of any trademark, copyright or any other proprietary right of such merchandise.  This provision will remain in affect after delivery of your order.Made of 100 % recycled polyester, comes with a string tie pack.
